Murphy's Tree Lot a Success

   On Saturday, December 8, the Hillsboro Optimist Club volunteered their time to run the Murphy's Furniture Tree Lot sales, benefiting the local Boys and Girls Club.

         As of the end of sales on Saturday, the event was making a profit, having already paid for the trees in sales alone. The Hillsboro Optimist day netted over $500 for the charity.

     More volunteer days are available if members are interested in helping, and should contact Kathy at Murphy's Furniture for scheduling a shift.
