The Hillsboro Optimist Club Honors Teachers and Students of Hillsboro Middle Schools

This event took place on 4/29 at Trinity Lutheran Church on SE Minter Bridge Road. It was well attended.

Optimist Kathy Jungels provided introductions. Optimist Rumsch delivered an opening prayer,  Optimist JV Torgerson acted as MC. Hillsboro Superintended Mike Scott presented remarks. Optimists Mike Chapman and Tammy Hilp helped with awards.

Students and teachers were recognized for demonstrating leadership excellence.
The event included presentation of the colors by Troop 855 BSA; it also featured catering by Café Couture and a performance by the Hillsboro Community Youth Choir.
