Last month’s Board Meeting yielded a surprise for local non-profit, Family Promise, the homeless family shelter in Hillsboro. Board members agreed to donate $100 to the organization to add to the individual money collected all summer by member Sarah Newton during weekly optimist meetings.
Tuesday, Matthew Eagen, Vice-President of the Family Promise Board attended the weekly Optimist Club meeting to accept the donation.
