Hillsboro Hops bringing 'Family' to Hillsboro

Guest speaker KL Wombacher, General Manager of the Hillsboro Hops, visited the weekly meeting and spoke about the upcoming arrival of the Hillsboro Hops baseball players. In a few short months, the stadium will be done, and the players will arrive - many of them needing ‘Guest Homes’ to live in for the short season. 
Wombacher emphasized how much of a community and family pastime baseball is, and the work that the Hillsboro Hops have done to keep ticket pricing down as well as help create a family friendly atmosphere.
    The first game for the Hillsboro Hops will be an away game against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes on June 14th, with the opening game at the new Hillsboro ball park on June 17th against the Eugene Emeralds.
