Murphy's Furniture Tree Lot in Need of More Volunteers

    The Hillsboro Optimist Club has been supporting Murphy's Furniture and the Boys and Girls club by volunteering as support for their Christmas Tree Lot.
     Saturday, Dec. 8 will be the main day for Optimist volunteering, with shifts from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. still needing volunteers. The tree lot also still needs volunteers for Friday Dec. 7 from 4-7p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9 from 10-1p.m.
     Murphy's Furniture is also hosting a 'Giving Tree' with gift needs for children in the Boys and Girls Club. Monte distributed the 'wishes' of two children at the Tuesday meeting.
